Scholarship Committee Finished

The Scholarship Committee met last Tuesday to grade the applications of the students who have applied from the Ouray, Ridgway and Silverton schools. This year the committee is pleased to announce that all applications have been forwarded to the next level of competition. Also, a vote was held on the Lodge floor to increase the amount of our local scholarships from $350 to $400, which passed unanimously. This year the Committee elected to use the Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Application as the same application for the local scholarships. The winners of the local scholarship will be announced at the graduation ceremonies later in the Spring.
